I really enjoyed restoring this beautifully made, 1970’s Naval Hat for my client Ainslee.
It belonged to her Grandfather who was Rear Admiral D.V. Hunter – Commander of the Royal Ceylon Navy and Sri Lanka Navy from July 1970 to March 1973.
Made BY SPECIAL APPOINTMENT TO HER MAJESTY THE QUEEN by GIEVES LTD, in England.
Ainslee was very happy with the results and is thrilled to be giving it to give it to her father for his 70th birthday
